Warranty Coverage

All used machinery purchased through our website comes with a standard 3-month warranty provided it is installed by a qualified engineer and unless otherwise specified. This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. If a covered defect arises during the warranty period, AACR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning will repair or replace the product at our discretion.

Return Eligibility

To be eligible for a return under warranty, the machinery must be in the same condition as when it was purchased and must not have been altered or modified in any way. Additionally, the issue must be due to a manufacturing defect and not caused by misuse, neglect, unauthorized repair attempts or faulty installation.

Return Process

If you encounter an issue with your purchased machinery within the warranty period, please contact AACR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning by telephone on 01243 820457 immediately to initiate the return process. We will guide you through the necessary steps and provide you with a Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) if necessary, which must be included with the returned item. Carriage costs will be at your expense.

Repair Procedure

Upon your notification of an issue, AACR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning reserves the right to inspect and diagnose the issue. Depending on the nature of the problem, we may choose to repair the machinery in-house or arrange for a certified technician to perform the repair on-site. The decision regarding repair methodology will be made at our discretion, to ensure the most effective and efficient resolution.

Technician Selection

In instances where on-site repair is necessary, AACR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning retains the right to specify the technician or service provider who will perform the repair. This ensures that the repair is conducted by qualified professionals who are knowledgeable about the specific machinery and can effectively address the issue.

Shipping Costs

All return shipping costs, including those associated with returning the machinery for repair or replacement under warranty, are to be paid by the customer. However, to assist you in this process, we can recommend reputable shipping companies that specialize in handling heavy machinery and equipment. These companies offer competitive rates and reliable service, ensuring that your machinery is transported safely and efficiently. To facilitate the shipping process, please ensure that the machinery is securely palletized before pickup. Palletizing the machinery helps protect it during transit and allows for easier handling by the shipping company. While the choice of shipping provider ultimately rests with the customer, We are available to provide guidance and assistance to facilitate a smooth shipping experience. Please note that any additional shipping costs incurred due to customer preferences or special circumstances may also be the responsibility of the customer.

Refunds and Replacements

If the issue with the machinery cannot be resolved through repair, AACR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning will provide either a replacement item or a refund, as determined by us. Refunds will be issued in the original form of payment used for the purchase.

Limitations and Exclusions

Please note that our returns policy applies only to defects covered under the warranty and does not extend to issues arising from normal wear and tear, misuse, improper maintenance or improper installation. Additionally, AACR Refrigeration & Air Conditioning reserves the right to refuse returns or repairs for machinery that have been damaged due to negligence, unauthorized modifications or repair.
